Product Details

The Hydrion Purity RO600 is a tankless reverse osmosis system that fits under your kitchen sink and supplies filtered drinking water to its own brushed steel faucet. Three twist-in cartridges and a 0.0001 micron membrane filter the water as you pour, and a smart display shows the live TDS of every glass.

Reverse osmosis in three stages

The PPC composite filter combines a polypropylene sediment layer with a carbon block to catch sand, rust and particles and to reduce chlorine. The 600G RO membrane then reduces dissolved solids, heavy metals, fluoride and PFAS. The TC post filter finishes with carbon, alkaline and mineral media for a smooth taste.

Fresh water on demand, without a tank

A quiet booster pump delivers 1.6 litres per minute and up to 2,270 litres a day, so a 330 ml glass fills in about ten seconds. With no storage tank the unit is only about 13 cm wide and works at a 2:1 pure to drain ratio.

Smart display and automatic care

  • Live TDS meter: shows the dissolved solids in your filtered water in real time.
  • Filter life indicators: each cartridge has its own light, which flashes red when under 5% of its life is left.
  • Automatic flushing: the membrane is rinsed after power-on, after longer use and every 24 hours on standby.
  • Safety stop: the system pauses after 30 minutes of continuous running and includes leak detection.

Optional TAM3 alkaline mineral filter

Choose the version with TAM3 to add an inline alkaline stage after the system. It adds calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc and raises the pH above 7.5. Its cartridge lasts about 12 months.

Easy installation and filter changes

Everything you need is in the box, including a 3-way feed valve and a 1/2 to 3/8 inch converter, so most kitchens are set up in about 30 minutes. To change a cartridge, remove the front cover, twist and pull. Replace the PPC filter around every 6 months, the TC filter every 12 months and the RO membrane every 24 months.

Fresh Water, On Demand

The water is filtered as you pour, so none of it sits in a tank.

The RO600 has no storage tank. It filters water at 1.6 litres a minute each time you open the faucet.

Everyday Drinking Water

Treated tap water can still pick things up on the way to your glass.

Mains water is treated to be safe, yet on its way to your glass it can pick up dissolved salts, metals from old pipes and the taste of chlorine. A jug filter improves the taste, but it cannot reduce dissolved solids the way a reverse osmosis membrane does.

Classic reverse osmosis systems solve that with a bulky storage tank and a slow trickle. The RO600 makes water on demand instead, so the cabinet stays free and every glass is freshly filtered.

The display shows how clean your water is.

The built-in TDS meter shows the dissolved solids left in your filtered water in real time, so you can see the membrane working every time you open the faucet.

2,270 LOf filtered water per day at full capacity, enough for cooking and drinking in a large household
2:1Two parts drinking water for every part sent to drain, far less waste than older RO units
0Storage tanks under your sink, because the water is filtered as you use it
How It Works

The water passes through three cartridges before it reaches the faucet.

A quiet booster pump pushes cold mains water through each stage in turn and up to the dedicated faucet.

1

Pre-Filter

The PPC cartridge combines a polypropylene sediment layer with a carbon block to stop sand, rust and particles and to reduce chlorine taste, which protects the membrane.

2

Reverse Osmosis

The 600G membrane with 0.0001 micron pores reduces dissolved solids, heavy metals, fluoride and PFAS, and sends the rejected water to drain.

3

Taste Polishing

The TC cartridge combines post carbon with alkaline and mineral media to round off the taste before the water reaches your glass.

0.0001 µm

Features

Small details that make it easy to live with.

8 Layers In 3 Cartridges

Sediment, carbon block, RO membrane, post carbon and mineral media are packed into three cartridges that fit side by side in one slim body.

Live TDS And Filter Life

The smart panel shows the TDS of your filtered water and colour-coded life indicators for each cartridge, with a gentle beep when one is due.

Twist-In Cartridges

Remove the front cover, turn a cartridge and pull it out. A change takes about three seconds and needs no tools.

1.6 Litres A Minute

A 600 GPD membrane and booster pump fill a 330 ml glass in about ten seconds, so a pot or a kettle is ready quickly.

Automatic Flushing

The system rinses its membrane after power-on, after longer use and once every 24 hours on standby, and it stops itself after 30 minutes of continuous running.

DIY Installation

Push-fit tubing, a 3-way feed valve and a 1/2 to 3/8 inch converter come in the box, so most kitchens are set up in about 30 minutes.

Slim Under-Sink Unit

It leaves most of your sink cabinet free.

At about 13 cm wide the tankless body takes roughly 70% less room than a tank system, leaving space for bins and cleaning supplies.

Common Questions

Questions we are often asked

Will it fit under my sink?
The unit is about 13 cm wide, 38 cm deep and 43 cm high and needs a power socket in or near the cabinet. It connects to a standard 3/8 or 1/2 inch cold water supply, and the faucet needs a 12 mm hole in a countertop up to 3.85 cm thick.
How often do I change the filters?
As a guide, the PPC filter every 6 months, the TC filter every 12 months and the RO membrane every 24 months. The display tells you when each one is due, and the real interval depends on your water and how much you use.
Why does the TDS reading change?
After the system has been standing, the first water can read slightly higher for about a minute, which is normal for every RO system. The TC filter and the optional TAM3 add minerals back, so the reading rises a little after those stages too.
What does the TAM3 filter add?
TAM3 is an inline alkaline stage fitted after the system. Its carbon, alkaline and mineral media add calcium, magnesium, potassium and zinc and raise the pH of the water above 7.5. One cartridge lasts about 12 months.
How much water goes to drain?
The RO600 works at a 2:1 ratio, so for every two litres of drinking water about one litre carries the rejected minerals to drain. Older tank systems often send three or four litres to drain for each litre they make.
Is it noisy, and is there a delay?
You will hear the quiet booster pump while water is flowing. Because there is no tank, the water starts about half a second to a second after you open the faucet.
What is in the box?
The RO600 with all three cartridges fitted, a brushed steel faucet, a 3-way feed valve, a 1/2 to 3/8 inch converter, white and red tubing, a drain saddle, quick fittings, lock clips, plumber tape, a tube cutter, the power adapter and the manual. The TAM3 version also includes the TAM3 alkaline filter and its fittings.
Less Plastic, Less Carrying

Refill your bottle at home instead of buying another pack.

One system supplies up to 2,270 litres a day, enough for drinking, cooking, coffee and the bottles you take out.
